How Babalawo in Ogun State saved a 7-year-old boy from being used for a money ritual by his father

True Life Story - How Babalawo in Ogun State saved a 7-year-old boy from being used for a money ritual by his father

Overtime, multiple Babalawo debunked the belief by some People that using human blood and body parts could generate wealth. Infact, Chief Elebuibon, the Araba-Awo of Osogboland said the belief was a hoax, insisting that no genuine traditional priest would indulge in such satanic enterprise. Religious Leaders, Pastors and Alfas are not left out. Some time ago, Ogun State Police Command arrested a Pastor who allegedly killed a final year Sociology student of the Lagos State University LASU "Favour Daley-Oladele" for money ritual.

This Story is about Poni Bada, A 50-year-old Beninese farmer who moved into Nigeria from Benin Republic

In May 2023, Poni Bada left his home town in Jakotome, Benin Republic for Nigeria, to visit his brother, Benjamin Balobi, at Ilaro, Ogun State, who earlier told him that he was doing well as a farmer and that the owner of the farmland was looking for more labourers.

Poni Bada brought along his 7 year old son Agbe Bada to Nigeria inorder to also work as a labourer for money.

Poni Bada said the thought of using his son for money ritual came up when he realized that the money paid as salary to his son "5000 naria" was too small. His father was said to have called Benjamin Balobi, complaining that the money paid to his son was too small compared to the farm work.

Poni Bada Explained why he intended to use his son for money ritual: the father of the boy, Bada, said: “I have 10 children from three wives. The situation of things kept going from bad to worse. I could not feed my children. I then decided to use my last child, Agbe, for a money ritual, so that I could train the other children and have better living conditions.

Poni Bada started his mission by calling Balobi, he told him about his plan, while begging him to get an herbalist that would help with the money rituals; but balobi told him that he knew no one but promised to help him find someone that might have information about it

Poni Bada said: “He informed Ige Koshelu (one of the suspects) who found someone that promised to take us to the herbalist’s place in Sango. But we were taken to another herbalist’s place in Owode, where we were arrested.”

The deal

Also speaking, one of his accomplices, Segun Shile, a commercial motorcyclist, said four herbalists earlier contacted declined engaging in money rituals sacrifice.

He expressed regrets, saying, “If I had known, I would have withdrawn. We were warned by the herbalist I took them to at Owode, Ogun State, not to use the boy.

“When I called the herbalist on the phone, he said there was nothing like money rituals. Few days later, he invited me to bring the person that would be used for the rituals.

“Immediately he sighted the boy, he stated categorically that the child’s head was too strong to be used for rituals.

“He, however, demanded N100,000 to take to another herbalist who would perform the rituals.

“Three of us: Balobi, Koshelu and myself, who accompanied the father of the boy there, then went outside to discuss how to raise the money.

“Balobi brought N50,000, and Koshelu and I added N25,000 each. We told the boy’s father not to pay since he was donating his son for the ritual.

“The agreement was for him to give us out of what would come out of the process. When we handed the money to the herbalist, he picked up his phone and called someone. To our surprise, the next thing we saw were policemen.”

Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 2, Command, AIG Muhammed Ali who confirmed the arrest of the suspects and rescue of the minor, said the latter would be taken to a juvenile home at the end of investigation.

After his Arrest, he said:
“On the day the herbalist called us to bring the boy to be slaughtered for the rituals, I was so happy that my financial predicament would soon be over. But rather than do the needful, he started talking to someone on the phone, thinking that he was calling the person that would butcher my son for the ritual, he ended up inviting some policemen who appeared in a jiffy  and arrested us. I am full of regrets, because I had hoped that my financial status would be elevated after using my son for rituals.

“I don’t know why the herbalist behaved the way he did.

The child is mine, so what is his problem that the owner of a child wanted to use him for money making rituals? It is quite unfortunate that all my dreams to become a millionaire have just crashed while I will be spending the rest of my life in jail”.

In Conclusion, The Herbalist knew if he sent them ago, they will likely visit someone else that might K!ll the innocent boy, God used the Babalawo to rescue the innocent boy.

Money Ritual or Blood Money is Demonic. Human sacrifice for money rituals does not exist in Isese.
